University Library announces 'Election 2012' research guide

9:41 a.m., Sept. 17, 2012--The University of Delaware Library has announced a new library research guide, "Election 2012,” that provides an electronic guide with information about the 2012 elections. 

“Election 2012” includes links to sites for the presidential candidates, the national conventions, national parties, analysis of current political issues and election information, including and news sources.

As it neared time for the processional to open the University of Delaware Commencement ceremonies, graduating students and faculty members shared their feelings about what the event means to them.

Doctoral hooding

It was a day of triumph, cheers and collective relief as more than 160 students from 21 nations participated in the University of Delaware's Doctoral Hooding Convocation held Friday morning on The Green.

The “Election 2012” research guide is available at this website.

“Election 2012” also appears when browsing the list of all library research guides under the letter “E” from the library web and also as one of the rotating features from the library on the home page.

“Election 2012” was created by Michael Gutierrez, associate librarian in the Reference and Instructional Services Department of the University of Delaware Library.
