United Way campaign
Let the countdown begin … nine days and counting
4:06 p.m., Sept. 28, 2012--The University of Delaware’s 2012 United Way campaign -- co-chaired by Interim Provost Nancy Brickhouse and Vice President for Finance and Administration J.J. Davis -- will begin Oct. 8 and continues through Nov. 16. A kickoff event will be held from 10-11:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 1, in the Rodney Room of the Perkins Student Center.
Did you know that the United Way of Delaware works to advance the common good by focusing on the three building blocks to a good life: education, income and health?

Today’s highlighted partner agency is the Wilmington HOPE Commission.
The Wilmington HOPE Commission works to develop, promote, evaluate and advocate for meaningful strategies and programs that will focus on the revitalization of Wilmington’s underserved communities and motivate residents and community-based organizations to be actively engaged in the creation of safer, more vibrant, sustainable neighborhoods.
