The first partner agency highlighted during the UD countdown is Delaware Kids Connection, a mentoring program that matches middle school students with trained community mentors. It is designed to improve academic achievement, link positive school experiences to the student’s family, provide job and career planning concepts, and promote parent and community involvement. Delaware Kids Connection seeks volunteer mentors to commit to helping a child improve his or her life and encourage them to reach for their goals.
