Library offers 'Research Funding Online' workshop
3:50 p.m., Sept. 27, 2012--The University of Delaware Library will present a workshop entitled “Research Funding Online” during the 2012 fall semester. This workshop is co-sponsored by the University of Delaware Research Office.
“Research Funding Online” focuses on two Library databases, Foundation Directory Online and COS Pivot, which faculty, staff and graduate students can use to identify potential funding resources, such as grants from private foundations, corporations and government agencies. The workshop will cover strategies for searching the databases, procedures for using alerting services, and locating additional grant information on the Internet.

The workshop is scheduled from 10 a.m.-noon, Tuesday, Oct. 30, in the Library Instruction Room (Room 116A), Morris Library. Presenters will be Carol Rudisell, librarian, Reference and Instructional Services Department, and Michael Gutiérrez, associate librarian, Reference and Instructional Services Department.
Available at no charge, the workshop is open to UD faculty, staff and students. Seating is limited and registration is required. Online registration is available at guides.lib.udel.edu/workshops.
