HTAC creates electronic mailing list for its patrons

9:41 a.m., Oct. 10, 2012--The Harrington Theatre Arts Company (HTAC) has created a Patrons Mailing List to help inform the University community about its upcoming productions.  

To subscribe to the list, send an email to htac.theatre@gmail.com, with the following subject line: "Patrons Mailing List Sign-Up."

As it neared time for the processional to open the University of Delaware Commencement ceremonies, graduating students and faculty members shared their feelings about what the event means to them.

Doctoral hooding

It was a day of triumph, cheers and collective relief as more than 160 students from 21 nations participated in the University of Delaware's Doctoral Hooding Convocation held Friday morning on The Green.

Subscribers will receive three emails each semester: one when the group's two mainstage production are selected and reminders one week before each production. 

"We thank you for your daily commitment to helping us traverse the academic challenges that college presents," said HTAC President Daniel Bailin. "Now let us return the favor. Who knows? Maybe you'll find out something new about that student in the back row of your lecture who never answers any questions and who never comes to office hours: He's really just been saving his voice for one of our presentations."

HTAC's mainstage productions this year will be Spring Awakening and Little Shop of Horrors.
