
Homecoming balloting
Voting will be held Friday, Oct. 19, for the 2012 Homecoming King and Queen
4:11 p.m., Oct. 18, 2012--Balloting for the 2012 University of Delaware Homecoming King and Queen will be held one day only, with voting open on Friday, Oct. 19, until midnight.
The king and queen will be crowned at the Blue Hens football game on Saturday, Oct. 20, at Delaware Stadium by Valerie Biden Owens, member of the Class of 1967, sister of Vice President Joe Biden and 1965 Homecoming Queen.

Nominees for the 2012 Homecoming King and Queen are:
- Nick Campagnola, biomedical engineering major;
- Marni Copeland, nutrition major, sociology minor;
- Melissa Deutsch, interpersonal communication major, advertising and community and organizational leadership double minor;
- Sam Katz, medical laboratory science major;
- Rachel Kushner, early childhood education major;
- Jennifer Lowe, marketing major, Spanish minor;
- Maria Marquez, English and Spanish studies double major;
- Nicole Rasco, English, creative writing major, history and theatre studies double minor;
- Scott Scheinberg, political science education major, journalism minor;
- Zachary Sidrane, political science and American history double major;
- Christopher Swezey, international relations, European studies double major, Italian language and literature minor; and
- Scott Zaleski, English, creative writing major.
Office of Alumni Relations
The Office of Alumni Relations is the chief liaison between the University and the worldwide alumni body of more than 157,000 living alumni represented by the UD Alumni Association.
