Use the compliance hotline to report concerns, irregularities

3:08 p.m., Oct. 31, 2012--The University of Delaware EthicsPoint compliance hotline is available for reporting suspected irregularities or concerns.  Examples of issues that may be reported on the hotline include financial fraud, misuse of UD resources or information, violation of safety rules and environmental laws, conflicts of interest, NCAA violations, unlawful discrimination or harassment and research grant misconduct. 

EthicsPoint allows anyone — employees, students and others — to file reports 24 hours a day, seven days a week, via telephone or on the Internet. The toll-free telephone number is 1-888-366-6033, and the website may be reached by going to www.udel.edu/compliance/ or directly to www.ethicspoint.com

2FA protects you

If you are using two-factor authentication (2FA), even if a hacker has your password, your information is probably safe.

The EthicsPoint system uses state-of-the-art security features, including passwords, encryption and firewalls, to protect the anonymity and confidentiality of those making reports. Individuals may identify themselves if they choose to do so, or remain anonymous. Each person who files a report creates a private password and is assigned a unique identifier for secure communication and access to the system.
