2:39 p.m., Nov. 20, 2012--A search is now under way for the position of vice provost for graduate and professional education at the University of Delaware.

The post is currently being held by Charles Riordan, who was named vice provost for research on Sept. 1.

Reporting to the provost, the vice provost for graduate and professional education collaborates with deans, department chairs and graduate program directors in providing University-wide leadership to support the continued enhancement of graduate and professional education and postdoctoral studies. The vice provost provides support, oversight and vision for these domains across campus.

The successful candidate will be appointed for a two-year term.

Deadline for applications is Nov. 30.
