“We are incredibly close to our goal this year,” Nancy Brickhouse, interim provost and co-chair of UD’s United Way campaign, said. “This year it’s more important than ever to contribute to the United Way. The devastation from Hurricane Sandy has put a strain on the agencies that supplement human service programs. Luckily, there is still time to contribute and help thousands of Delawareans live better lives.”
Any donation, large or small, will make a difference in the lives of Delawareans in need. Faculty and staff are encouraged to make a pledge with the easy-to-use electronic pledge form that was sent via email.
If payment by check is preferred, make it payable to the "United Way of Delaware" and forward it along with a hard copy pledge form to Michele Jones, Employee Education and Development, 309G Hullihen Hall.
If anyone did not receive the email or cannot locate it, contact Michele Jones at mjones@udel.edu with the subject “Resend E-pledge” to request that it be resent.
