Dec. 6: One-act plays
Student scriptwriters to present their work at public reading
8:04 a.m., Nov. 29, 2012--University of Delaware student playwrights will present several one-act plays on Thursday, Dec. 6, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Bacchus Theatre in Perkins Student Center.
The event, expected to be about two hours long, is free and open to the public. At the end of the readings, the audience will have an opportunity to comment briefly on the plays.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K
University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.
June 6-9: Food and culture series
The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.
The plays to be presented have been written this semester by students in a script-writing workshop taught by Jeanne Murray Walker, professor and head of creative writing in the Department of English.
