Library announces 'Getting Started with Digital Humanities Tools Workshop'
2:04 p.m., Nov. 12, 2012--The University of Delaware Library has invited the campus community to the “Getting Started with Digital Humanities Tools Workshop” to be held on Friday, Nov. 30, from 3:30-5 p.m., in the Class of 1941 Lecture Room in the Morris Library.
The workshop will be presented by Nico Carver, assistant librarian, and Hannah Lee, assistant librarian, both of the Student Multimedia Design Center.

The workshop will cover some free online resources for digital humanities projects, including applications such as historic overlay maps, augmented reality, interactive timelines and infographics. The workshop will also include how library resources, such as multimedia equipment, can be used to complete digital humanities research.
The “Getting Started with Digital Humanities Tools Workshop” will be open to the public and light refreshments will be available. The workshop will be held in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Humanities Research Center.
