Dissertation boot camp

Summer workshop provides doctoral students with time, tutoring for writing

10:30 a.m., May 22, 2013--The University of Delaware Office of Graduate and Professional Education and the Writing Program are joining forces once again to offer an intensive workshop, scheduled July 29-Aug. 9, for doctoral students who are writing their dissertation or who have found their writing progress stalled. Those who have previously participated in a dissertation boot camp at the University also are welcome to apply.

Participants will spend the majority of their time writing; however, the workshop will also include brief discussions on topics of common interest to dissertation students, such as motivation, goal setting, time management and the writing habits of successful and prolific academic writers.
