UD Police seek information on criminal mischief at Willard Hall Education Building

4:22 p.m., May 6, 2013--The University of Delaware Police are seeking assistance with an investigation into a burglary and incident of criminal mischief at the Willard Hall Education Building that caused the building to be closed May 6.

Sometime between 10 p.m., Sunday, May 5, and 5 a.m., Monday, May 6, someone illegally entered the building, damaged furniture, restroom fixtures and chalk boards. They also turned on a safety shower that flooded the third and second floors, causing damage to the ceiling and furniture.

Because of the flooding, the Willard Hall Education Building was closed for repair and clean up on Monday, May 6. It is reopening on its normal schedule on Tuesday, May 7.
