Blue Hens invited to enjoy annual Dad Vail Regatta in Philadelphia
9:04 a.m., May 3, 2013--University of Delaware alumni are invited to enjoy the 75th annual Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta in Philadelphia, one of the nation’s great rowing traditions, beginning at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 11.
Those who attend can join the UD Men’s Crew Alumni Association and alumni families for food and fun under the UD tent, while cheering on the Blue Hens men’s and women’s teams.

Monday, May 6, 6:30 p.m.: Athletics Spring Tour stops in Middletown. UD Athletics invites Blue Hens to join Athletic Director Eric Ziady and UD coaches for a fun-filled evening at Applebee's in Middletown.
Thursday, May 9, 5:30 p.m.: New Castle County happy hour. The New Castle County Alumni Club will host a spring happy hour event at Tyler Fitzgerald's on Limestone Road.
Thursday, May 9, 5:30 p.m.: Phoenix happy hour. Arizona Blue Hens will gather for a happy hour event at O.H.S.O Eatery + nanoBrewery in Phoenix. There will be drink specials and complimentary appetizers.
Friday, May 10, 4 p.m.: Senior Fling 2013. Open to all students, the Senior Fling is an afternoon of free entertainment, music, food, prizes and activities on the North Green to celebrate and congratulate the graduating class.
Friday, May 10, 6:10 p.m.: Baseball Series in Phoenix. Alumni in Phoenix, Ariz., will get together for an evening of baseball as the Diamondbacks take on the Philadelphia Phillies. Hens can enjoy a buffet dinner, fireworks and a concert.
Saturday, May 11, 2 p.m.: Baseball Series in Washington. Blue Hens will gather at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., for a baseball game between the Nats and the Chicago Cubs. Alumni will meet at Molly Malone’s prior to the game.
Friday, May 17, 6:30 p.m.: Richmond wine tasting. The Richmond Alumni Club will offer a spring evening of hors d'oeuvres, wine and live music on the patio at James River Cellars in Glen Allen.
Monday, May 20, 6:30 p.m.: Athletics Spring Tour stops in Rehoboth. UD Athletics invites Blue Hens to join Athletic Director Eric Ziady and UD coaches for a fun-filled evening at Applebee’s in Rehoboth Beach.
Thursday, May 23, 5 p.m.: Baltimore happy hour. The Baltimore Alumni Club will host happy hour at MEX, 26 Market Place, in Baltimore.
