March 21: 'Leadership Matters'
Employee Education and Development sets 'Leadership Matters' series
12:35 p.m., March 4, 2013--A new series of workshops titled “Leadership Matters,” offered by the University of Delaware Office Human Resources’ Employee Education and Development program, will open Thursday, March 21.
Throughout the year, one-hour sessions will be facilitated by UD faculty and staff currently working in leadership roles. These individuals will present their views of leadership while highlighting their own experiences.

The inaugural session on March 21 will feature Bonnie Kenny, UD volleyball head coach. It will be held from 10-11 a.m. in the Perkins Student Center Gallery. For more information and to register, click here.
Kenny has more than 20 years of experience and is in her 12th season at UD. She has led the Blue Hens to five Colonial Athletic Association regular season titles and four CAA tournament championship titles, with four trips the NCAA tournament.
Kenny also has been named the CAA coach of the year four times.
She will speak about the characteristics of leadership, what leaders demonstrate to make them special, and the leadership continuum.
