4:22 p.m., March 12, 2013--University of Delaware Police have arrested Eubert Bob Cain, 45, of Alexandria, Va., for burglary, theft and unlawful use of credit cards stemming from a series of cases beginning in November 2012.

According to UD Police, Cain would enter unattended offices at the University and remove property such as unattended wallets, purses and credit cards. He used the credit cards to purchase electronics and Visa gift cards at local retail stores.

Through private and retail store surveillance video, detectives were able to place Cain at the incident scenes several times each month from November 2012 through February 2013. Police are still searching for a man seen accompanying Cain when he was using the credit cards.

Cain was arrested March 4 by UD Police detectives and is being held at the Howard R. Young Correctional Facility in lieu of $9,700 secured bail, pending a preliminary hearing in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas.

Cain is wanted by Delaware State Police, Maryland Police and several other Delaware municipal agencies.
