Delaware Biotechnology Institute to host forum for academic, industry scientists
11:16 a.m., July 30, 2012--The Delaware Biotechnology Institute (DBI) will host CAT Connect 2 the second forum for academic and industry scientists seeking partners to connect with each other to apply for a Delaware Bioscience Center for Advanced Technology (Bioscience CAT) grant on Thursday, Aug. 9.
The event is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. at DBI, 15 Innovation Way, Newark, in conjunction with a life science professionals mixer. Registration is open on the CAT website.

With support from the state of Delaware, the Bioscience CAT provides grant opportunities to faculty and investigators from around Delaware that are working collaboratively with Delaware bioscience businesses, including those that are members of the Delaware Bioscience Association (Delaware Bio).
In addition, the CAT provides easier access to high-end instrumentation platforms available within the academic community at the University of Delaware.

Faculty/principal investigators from any of Delaware's academic or medical research institutions seeking funding and industry scientists who are interested in collaborating with researchers to pursue higher risk projects.

This event will provide attendees an opportunity to review and collaborate on cutting edge life science research at various stages of growth from industry and academia.
