Before total retirement, Mr. Paca was a successful real estate agent with Gilpin and Patterson Schwartz. He was an enthusiastic sailor in the waters of the Chesapeake, as well as an avid reader, exchanging books with his brother, Bill.
He enjoyed travel, stamp collecting, camping with the boys, walking on the beach and in the mountains, and working on small building projects. Some of his favorite past times included playing with his various dogs and cats, and feeding the birds.
Mr. Paca was preceded in death by his first wife, Judy, and their young son, Davie.
He is survived by his wife, Bev; sons, Jeff, Carl and Terry; step-daughter and son, Betsy and Chuck; as well as his brother, William, and his wife, Gene; six grandchildren, one niece; three nephews; and six grandnieces.
