“The key role of these volunteers is to lead by personal example,” says Kathy Corbitt, associate director, HealthyU Employee Wellness. “We know of many faculty and staff committed to a healthy lifestyle who are already sources of encouragement and inspiration to their colleagues. This new initiative is a way to support them and tap into their enthusiasm as a way of engaging more people in wellness activities.”
