Drop-in syllabus clinic offered to faculty members by CTAL, ATS
11:45 a.m., Jan. 23, 2013--University of Delaware faculty members who are preparing for the spring semester are invited to drop-in to a syllabus clinic offered Jan. 28-30 by colleagues from the Center for Teaching and Assessment of Learning (CTAL) and Academic Technology Services (ATS).
CTAL and ATS representatives will assist faculty members in enhancing their course and communicating its focus on student learning via the course syllabus. Faculty members might consider outlining their course, its goals, methods and assessments via a graphic, such as featured in the Chronicle of Higher Education.

Questions and curiosity about pedagogically appropriate integration of technology, social media and Sakai tools into courses will be addressed by ATS colleagues.
Faculty members can stop by the CTAL office, 212 Gore Hall, to chat over refreshments and pick up pertinent resources. No appointment is needed.

Syllabus clinic dates and times
The clinic is offered at different times on three consecutive days to accommodate busy schedules and give you dedicated time for syllabus refinement prior to the spring semester.
- Monday, Jan. 28, 9-11 a.m.;
- Tuesday, Jan. 29, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.; and
- Wednesday, Jan. 30, 1-3 p.m.
