Morris Library announces hours on Martin Luther King Jr. Day
11:55 a.m., Jan. 2, 2013--The Morris Library at the University of Delaware will be open from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 21, although University offices are closed and classes are suspended.
Also that day, University Student Centers will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The Morris Library will be open though not all service desks will be staffed; some service desks may have reduced hours. Special Collections and the Exhibition Gallery will be closed. The Agriculture, Chemistry, Marine Studies and Physics libraries will be closed.

“Experience shows that the Morris Library is still heavily used on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, even though no classes are given,” Susan Brynteson, vice provost and May Morris University Librarian, said. “The University of Delaware Library is trying to meet the needs of library users.”
