Confucius Institute offering classes to UD community during spring semester
1:50 p.m., Jan. 9, 2013--During the spring semester, the Confucius Institute at the University of Delaware will continue to offer several classes in Chinese language and culture to the UD community.
Students, faculty, staff and alumni may register online for the following classes:

Fulbright awards
Peace Corps plans
Chinese Level 1 for faculty and staff. The class will meet Mondays, from Feb. 4-May 6, with the class on March 25 canceled due to spring break. It will be held from 5:30-6:45 p.m. in 308 Gore Hall. Instructor will be Xiaoyang Chen.
Chinese Level 2 for faculty and staff. The class will meet Wednesdays, from Feb. 6-May 8, with the class on March 27 canceled due to spring break. It will be held from 5:30-6:45 p.m. in 308 Gore Hall. Instructor will be Xiaoyang Chen.
Chinese Calligraphy for faculty and staff. The class will meet Thursdays, from Feb. 7-May 9, with the class on March 28 canceled due to spring break. It will meet from 5:30-6:45 p.m. in 109 Memorial Hall. Instructor will be Jianjun Huang.
Note that class size is limited to 20 people; registration will take place on a first-come, first-served basis. The Confucius Institute reserves the right to cancel any classes due to student shortage.
Information on other Chinese culture classes, including taiji, martial arts and folk dance, will be announced in the next few weeks on the Confucius Institute website.
