All events will occur from 3:30-5 p.m. and will be held in 117 Gore Hall. The roundtables are designed and sponsored through a collaboration of Academic Technology Services, the Institute for Transforming Undergraduate Education and the Center for Teaching and Assessment of Learning.

Spring session schedule:

• March 8: “Working with International Undergraduate Students.” As part of the University’s focus on serving as a global university, UD has strengthened its commitment to diversifying the student body. The University has built upon its success in providing a high quality graduate education to international students by offering this educational opportunity to international students at the undergraduate level.

The session will look at how the University can draw upon the students’ global perspectives and experiences to enrich the learning experience for all students as well as help acculturate the international students to the U.S. instructional setting.

The roundtable will provide concrete pedagogical approaches and support for international students (that have benefited all students) as well as illustrate what faculty members have done, from the international students’ perspective, that has helped them succeed as learners.

This event is co-sponsored by the University’s International Caucus.
