RefWorks workshops
University Library offers workshops on RefWorks citation management tool
9:54 a.m., Feb. 7, 2013--The University of Delaware Library will present five workshops on RefWorks, a web-based citation management tool, during the spring semester.
RefWorks is used to import and organize citations and generate bibliographies or reference lists, and it is available from the Library Databases page.

Two levels of workshops will be offered: “Introduction to RefWorks” and “RefWorks: Beyond the Basics.”
The introductory workshop will cover setting up an account, exporting citations from research databases, managing citations, creating bibliographies and more.
“RefWorks: Beyond the Basics” will provide additional information about exporting references from research databases and organizing references; it also will include using the Write-N-Cite feature to insert in-text citations as well as editing in-text citations.
The “Citing Using APA Style and RefWorks” workshop will cover using RefWorks with the American Psychological Association (APA) citation style.
“Introduction to RefWorks” will be offered:
Tuesday, March 5, 10-11:30 a.m., and Wednesday, April 10, 2-3:30 p.m., Library Instruction Room (116A), Morris Library, first floor. Presenters will be Dianna McKellar and Carol Rudisell, librarians, Reference and Instructional Services Department.
“RefWorks: Beyond the Basics” will be offered:
Tuesday, March 12, 10-11:30 a.m., and Wednesday, April 17, 2-3:30 p.m., Library Instruction Room (116A), Morris Library, first floor. Presenters will be William Simpson and Rebecca Knight, associate librarians, Reference and Instructional Services Department.
“Citing Using APA Style and RefWorks” will be offered:
Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2-3:30 p.m., Library Instruction Room (116A), Morris Library, first floor. Knight will be the presenter.
These workshops are available at no charge and are open to UD faculty, staff and students. Seating is limited and registration is required. Registration is available online.
