CTAL to hold roundtable session for faculty on learning assessment

11:04 a.m., Feb. 21, 2013--The University of Delaware Center for Teaching and Assessment of Learning (CTAL) will hold a lunchtime session Monday, March 4, titled, “Are They Learning What you Think They’re Learning?” from 12:30 to 1:30 in 223 Gore Hall.

In this session, faculty will explore quick and easy ways to obtain student feedback to adjust their teaching.  These ideas will be useful for faculty who teach classes of all sizes in many different disciplines.

June 6: UDid It! Picnic

All UD faculty and staff members are invited to attend the annual UDid It! employee appreciation picnic, set from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Monday, June 6, on The Green.

2FA protects you

If you are using two-factor authentication (2FA), even if a hacker has your password, your information is probably safe.

“We are offering this session in early March because this is an ideal point in the semester to find out what is going well in a course and where students need help,” said Kathy Pusecker, director of educational assessment. “ This session will help faculty fine-tune their course midstream in a way that is manageable.”

Faculty who register for this event can bring their lunch; CTAL will provide fruit and beverages.

All faculty members are encouraged to attend. Registration can be found online.
