Alumni activities
University announces alumni activities including holiday events, basketball
10:31 a.m., Dec. 7, 2012--The University of Delaware will offer several alumni activities in coming weeks, including holiday celebrations and Blue Hens basketball.
Alumni are invited to attend a “Tip-Off the New Year” men’s basketball game against Rider University at 2 p.m., New Year’s Day, Monday, Dec. 31.

They can join the Radio Disney pre-game event in the main lobby of the Bob Carpenter Center.
Other UD alumni activities are scheduled as follows:
Monday, Dec. 10, 5:30 p.m.: Holiday decorating party at St. Michael's School in Wilmington. The New Castle County Alumni Club invites Blue Hens for a supper and holiday decorating party at St. Michael's School in Wilmington. Participants will decorate for Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa.
Saturday, Dec. 15, 8 a.m.: DC Alumni Club with Wreaths Across America. The University’s alumni club in Washington, D.C., is supporting the Capital Alumni Network’s partnership with Wreaths Across America, placing wreaths on veteran's graves in Arlington National Cemetery during the holiday season.
Thursday, Dec. 20, 5:30 p.m.: UD women's basketball. Prior to watching the Blue Hens women’s basketball team take on the University of Maryland Terrapins, join the Office of Alumni Relations for a pregame reception in the lobby of the new addition of the Bob Carpenter Center. All guests will be entered into a raffle for UD prizes.
Wednesday, Jan. 16, 6 p.m.: Boston happy hour. UD alumni in Boston will get together for a winter warmer happy hour at the Mass Ave Tavern.
The Office of Alumni Relations recognizes and thanks the UD Alumni Association for its support of several of these events.
