'Get charged'
New student lounge, free mobile charging stations available
10:44 a.m., Aug. 27, 2012--Blue Hens have a new place to relax in the Trabant University Center, in the form of a brand new 50-plus seat lounge that occupies the former YoUDee Shop space on the first floor.
The Trabant Student Lounge includes several comfortable seating areas as well as coffee tables and two large flat screen cable televisions.

The space was designed with students in mind, so all seating is comfortably appointed in vibrant colors for students to enjoy while relaxing between classes or gathering with friends to socialize or watch television.
A small stage area at the front of the lounge makes it an ideal location for an intimate acoustical performance, while a drop-down projector and screen enable the space to house a variety of presentations.
Though the lounge will be reserved periodically for small events, it will overwhelmingly serve as a student hangout.
Students are welcome to “get charged” both mentally and physically with the addition of free Kwikboost mobile device charging stations. Two charging stations are mounted in the lounge, and they include charging cables to accommodate a wide range of mobile devices.
A Kwikboost charging station was also installed on the second floor of Trabant, and two additional stations will be installed in Perkins Student Center.
The Event Services Office of the University Student Centers can be reached at 302-831-2633 with any questions regarding Trabant Student Lounge or the Kwikboost stations.
