4:02 p.m., Aug. 24, 2012--University Student Centers has unveiled StUDent Central, an online portal from Collegiate Link/Campus Labs that allows students to connect with the University of Delaware’s 300-plus registered student organizations, 40-plus Greek chapters and councils, on-campus housing communities, and more.

The portal is designed to make it easy for students to meet people on campus who share their interests.

Campus Stories

From graduates, faculty

As it neared time for the processional to open the University of Delaware Commencement ceremonies, graduating students and faculty members shared their feelings about what the event means to them.

Doctoral hooding

It was a day of triumph, cheers and collective relief as more than 160 students from 21 nations participated in the University of Delaware's Doctoral Hooding Convocation held Friday morning on The Green.

All current students can log into StUDent Central using their UDelNet IDs and passwords. After logging in, users can browse and join hundreds of organizations, as well as find more information on thousands of StUDent Events happening campuswide.

StUDent Central also includes a profile feature that allows students to specify their interests and connect instantly with relevant organizations.

StUDent Central was designed to make student involvement as interactive, intuitive and convenient as possible. Students can now find all student groups in one location, connect instantly with groups that share their interests and document their involvement to assist in post-college career searches.

Student groups have gained a variety of new ways to market and manage themselves effectively, as well as communicate with their members.

Events posted on StUDent Central are also posted to the University of Delaware’s main calendar and can be exported to a variety of platforms, eliminating the need for continually cross-posting information. Students can find out what’s happening on campus anytime by visiting the StUDent Central website, Twitter or Facebook.
