Graduate students to highlight innovative research at forum May 10
1:34 p.m., April 30, 2013--Graduate students from across the University of Delaware will come together to share their innovative research at the third annual Graduate Student Forum on Friday, May 10.
The day will feature panel presentations and poster sessions on dozens of topics, ranging from cataract disease, to nutrient trading and monitoring in the Chesapeake Bay, to the impact of immigration on Latino families. For a complete listing of presentations, view the schedule online.
Prof. Heck's legacy
The forum will begin at 11 a.m. with registration and a light lunch at the Roselle Center for the Arts (CFA), followed by 10 panel presentations in the nearby Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics and a concluding poster session in the lobby of the CFA, from 5:15–6 p.m.
To cap off the day, a food and beverage reception will be held from 6-7 p.m. at the CFA. Raffle prizes also will be awarded, including a central parking pass, two tickets to a musical performance courtesy of the UD Department of Music, and a new beginner course from Empowered Yoga, to name a few.
