Megan Cimino, who is working on her doctorate in oceanography, will present “Satellites and Robots: Predicting Penguin Habitats,” and Peter Beltramo, a doctoral student in chemical and biomolecular engineering, will discuss “Blocking Sound Using Nano-Blocks.”
Each presentation will last only 20 minutes and will be followed by a conversation with the audience. Food and refreshments will be provided.
The Graduate Research Café is designed to provide UD graduate students with a friendly forum for honing their presentation skills and for providing the public with the opportunity to learn more about the fascinating research underway at UD.
The series was established with support from the Office of Graduate and Professional Education, the Center for Science, Ethics and Public Policy, the Interdisciplinary Humanities Research Center, Delaware EPSCoR and the National Science Foundation.
