Register now for UD's premier alumni event -- Alumni Weekend, May 31-June 2
5:16 p.m., April 3, 2013--Online registration for the fifth annual UD Alumni Weekend is now open at the UD Alumni Weekend website. This event, held May 31- June 2 and hosted by the Office of Alumni Relations, is the University's premier alumni event.
More than 4,000 alumni and friends are expected to return to campus for a weekend to connect with the University and fellow Blue Hens.

Event highlights include college receptions, the Mug Night Dela-bration, the Lunch with the UD Mascots, the President's State of the University, the UDAA Wall of Fame induction ceremony and reunion celebrations for the Classes of 1963, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003 and 2008. In addition, attendees will be able to stay overnight at Laird (North) Campus residence halls at affordable rates.
What’s new at Alumni Weekend 2013?
- Dance the night away at Mug Night Dela-bration with two bands -- Love Seed Mama Jump and Speaker City -- in two massive tents on The Green.
- Enjoy an open bar and food at the first annual Blue Hen R&B Lounge in the Roselle Center for the Arts, featuring the sounds of Best Kept Soul and DJ Silk.
- Bring the whole family to Lunch with the UD Mascots. Play in the bounce house, enjoy games and great food, and have your picture taken on the red carpet with YoUDee and Baby Blue.
- Now on Sunday: The Blue Hen 5K and the 1K Kids Fun Run will feature a new course on beautiful Laird Campus and the Pomeroy Trail.
Alumni are encouraged to register by Tuesday, April 30, to take advantage of Early Hen pricing and registration will be open until May 29.

Alumni Weekend
Held the first weekend after Commencement each year, Alumni Weekend is a tradition that is growing in popularity and in size. More than 3,900 Blue Hens and friends attended in 2012, participating in activities such as Mug Night, the Blue Hen 5K, President Patrick Harker's State of the University address and the Alumni Wall of Fame Ceremony.
