UD spring cooking demonstration offers Cinco de Mayo inspired recipes
11:39 a.m., March 30, 2012--The Office of Human Resources Employee Wellness Program invites University of Delaware employees to attend a Cinco de Mayo inspired cooking demonstration on Wednesday, April 11, in 204 Willard Hall Education Building.
Two separate seatings will take place, the first from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and the second from 1-2 p.m.

Those who attend can relax with a guilt-free margarita -- no sugar added and non-alcoholic -- and watch registered dietitian Tracy Sinibaldi prepare healthy Mexican meals.
Participants will have the opportunity to taste test each item during the demonstration. Featured recipes include homemade tortilla chips, corn salsa, low-fat guacamole and wraps.
The program offers an great opportunity to ask questions about healthy food preparation and healthy eating.
Sinibaldi is a graduate of the University of Delaware, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in dietetics and completed her dietetic internship. She has more than 19 years of professional experience as a dietitian and specializes in diabetes, weight management, kidney disease, cancer, neonatal and adult intensive care, pediatrics and food allergies.
The cost of the cooking demonstration is 10 Wellness Dollars.
