9:53 a.m., July 11, 2011--Nicole E. Cook, 28, of Newark, died July 8 from injuries sustained in a car accident.

She was a purchasing representative in Procurement Services at the University.

Born in Wilmington, Del., she was a 1999 graduate of Newark High School. 

Ms. Cook is survived by her two sons, Austin and Noah; her mother, Cathy Taylor; her father, Henry Casey Jr.; her stepfather, Gregg Taylor; her stepmother, Hope Casey; her grandparents, El and Barbara Mast, and Henry and Helen Casey; and her siblings, Joseph Casey, James Rubick, Melissa Rubick, Allen Casey, Taylor Casey and Jacob Casey.

Family and friends may visit at Cornerstone Methodist Church, 3135 Summit Bridge Rd., Bear, from 10-11:45 a.m., Monday, July 11. Funeral services will begin at noon, followed by entombment in All Saints Cemetery.

Memorial donations, in honor of Ms. Cook's love for animals, may be made to Faithful Friends, 12 Germay Drive, Wilmington, DE 19804.
