Pepsi jump-starts campus presence with kickoff events
11:33 a.m., Jan. 31, 2012--Kickoff events will celebrate Pepsi as the newest addition to the University of Delaware community at a variety of locations around campus on Monday, Feb. 6, and Wednesday, Feb. 8.

As it neared time for the processional to open the University of Delaware Commencement ceremonies, graduating students and faculty members shared their feelings about what the event means to them.
Doctoral hooding
It was a day of triumph, cheers and collective relief as more than 160 students from 21 nations participated in the University of Delaware's Doctoral Hooding Convocation held Friday morning on The Green.
- Trabant University Center, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Feb. 6.
- University Bookstore, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Feb. 6.
- Bob Carpenter Center for the men’s basketball game versus the University of North Carolina Wilmington, 7-8 p.m., Feb. 8.
Special appearances will include YoUDee, Chester Cheetah, UD cheerleaders and the UD dance team.
