Interfraternity Council recruitment registration open, kick off event set Feb. 19

10:21 a.m., Feb. 15, 2012--Registration is now open for Interfraternity Council recruitment at the University of Delaware. Men interested in joining one of the 16 IFC fraternities can gain more information by visiting the website.

Note that men interested in participating in formal recruitment must be undergraduates enrolled at UD for the spring semester. They must also have a 2.5 cumulative grade point average and not be a fully initiated member of any other IFC fraternity. All men must register online at this website.

As it neared time for the processional to open the University of Delaware Commencement ceremonies, graduating students and faculty members shared their feelings about what the event means to them.

Doctoral hooding
It was a day of triumph, cheers and collective relief as more than 160 students from 21 nations participated in the University of Delaware's Doctoral Hooding Convocation held Friday morning on The Green.

There will be a recruitment kick off event in Multipurpose Rooms of the Trabant University Center at 6:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 19. All 16 chapters will be represented and students can receive information about all of their recruitment events.
