In addition, participants will also discuss ways to enhance UD's commitment to enhance diversity on campus as stated in the Path to Prominence strategic plan.
The caucuses offer employees the opportunity to play a role in diversity initiatives and help to improve communication. The meeting and social will provide opportunities for faculty and staff across the University to meet and connect with people who are different from them and to network both socially and professionally while creating long lasting friendships.
Those would like to attend the business meetings and the social should RSVP via email to Sami Nassim, at nassims@udel.edu by May 5. Those who cannot attend but would like more information about caucus membership or would like to be added to the private listservs for any of the caucuses can visit the websites at sites.udel.edu/dec.
