Latinisimo is a variety show that entertains and informs about the richness of the Latin American culture and its connection to Delaware, according to Steve Kramarck, who manages the station.

The program airs every Wednesday from 8:30 to 9 a.m. on WVUD 91.3 FM.

Latinisimo is the only program in Spanish being produced at the radio station.

The program's co-hosts are Maria Fernanda Marquez, a student at the University of Delaware, and Guillermina Gonzalez, who recently graduated from the master of arts in liberal studies (MALS) program.

Latinisimo began airing on Sept. 15, coinciding with the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month activities.

“If you are a Latino, Latino at heart or are interested in understanding Hispanic culture, this is the place for you,” Gonzalez said. “We promise to use quality Spanish for you to learn, as well.”

The program serves the dual purpose of informing the community about Latin America and developing the next generation of bilingual communicators in Delaware.
