Sponsored by the National Eating Disorders Awareness Committee, a registered student organization at UD, the talk is free to UD students and staff. Admission for the general public is $3.

In Real Food, Planck argues that traditional foods such as butter are best, while industrial foods, such as corn oil are linked to such nutrition-related disease as obesity, diabetes and heart disease.

She is also the author of Real Food for Mother and Baby, which discusses the best foods to eat from conception through a baby's second birthday.

Her books will be on sale at the event, which will include a book signing after the talk.
