12:03 p.m., Oct. 8, 2010----Popular comedians Steven Wright and Seth Meyers will perform at The Bob at 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 15, as part of Parents and Family Weekend.
General admission tickets -at $20 - are now on sale at UD box offices at The Bob and the Trabant University Center or through Ticketmaster, at ticketmaster.com or 800-745-3000, where a service charge may apply.
Known for his offbeat humor, Wright is a regular guest on all the major late night shows from David Letterman and Jay Leno to Jimmy Kimmel and Craig Ferguson. In addition to his stand-up comedy career, he won an Oscar for the 1988 short film The Appointments of Dennis Jennings, which he starred in and co-wrote.
Meyers is in his ninth season on Saturday Night Live and his fourth season as anchor of "Weekend Update" and as head writer for the show. He recently wrote the script for an upcoming film and appeared in Journey to the Center of the Earth and Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist.
