Show times are 7 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Sunday.

Musical Director Brian Stone and Artistic Director Blake Smith finish Mozart's epic trio of collaborations with librettist Lorenzo da Ponte with this new production of Don Giovanni.

The story of Seville's shameless libertine may be the most dramatically intense of all Mozart's operas, for it has all the elements of comedy and drama mixed with some murder and even a little of the supernatural.

One of the other extremely exciting developments for the audience is that, for the first time in the history of UD Opera Theatre, the piece will be performed completely in Italian (with English supertitles).

Through the efforts of Veronica Perrine and the generosity of the Appoquinimink School District, UD Opera Theatre is producing Don Giovanni in central Delaware.

Tickets cost $12 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $3 for students. Call (302) 831-2204 for ticket information.
