9:05 a.m., Nov. 11, 2010----Novelist and poet Marisa de los Santos will present a free public reading from 5-6 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 17, in the third floor lounge of Memorial Hall as part of the Department of English Speakers' Series.
A Wilmington, Del., resident, de los Santos is the author of two novels, Love Walked In and Belong to Me, and one poetry collection, From the Bones Out.
Her novels have appeared on many bestseller lists, including that in The New York Times, and have been translated into more than 20 languages.
Her third novel, Falling Together, will be published by William Morrow in September 2011.
A reception will follow the reading.
