10:37 a.m., Nov. 1, 2010----University of Delaware faculty will offer post-election analysis during a panel discussion at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 3, in Room 130 of Smith Hall as part of the National Agenda 2010 speaker series.

Panelists will discuss what happened in the Nov. 2 mid-term elections, how it happened and what it means going forward.

Panelists are David Wilson, assistant professor of political science and international relations who will discuss public opinion; Jason Mycoff, associate professor of political science and international relations, who will discuss implications for Congress and President Barack Obama; Jennifer Lambe, associate professor of communication, who will discuss the impact of new rules on campaign speech and funding; Ed Freel, policy scientist in the Institute for Public Administration and instructor in the School of Urban Affairs and Public Policy, who will discuss the impact on Delaware; and Ralph Begleiter, Rosenberg Professor of Communication, Distinguished Journalist in Residence and director of the Center for Political Communication, who will discuss technology and media in the campaign.
