A job search is daunting enough as it is -- especially in a “recovering-yet-fragile economy.” Job seekers may have polished their resumes, revised cover letters and even practiced their interviewing skills -- but how may know that it is legal in 29 states to fire an employee for being LGBT? How can someone tell if a potential employer maintains a climate of support and equality for LGBT associates?

This workshop will help attendees identify those businesses that build a culture of LGBT inclusiveness and learn how to ask questions about inclusive policies while maintaining your own comfort level of “outness.”

The workshop is designed so that participants will leave with an abundance of resources that will help them put their best foot forward when looking for a job -- regardless of sexual orientation. Anyone is welcome to attend.

The Bank of America Career Services Center is located at 401 Academy Street. For more information or to RSVP, contact Gabriela Coleman at 831-1232 or via email at [gabyc@udel.edu].
