1:30 p.m., March 14, 2011----The University of Delaware Department of Fashion and Apparel Studies Advisory Board Meeting on Thursday, March 17, will feature professional panelists at a student-focused roundtable on “Leadership: Moving Beyond the Short Range View of Manager to the Long Range Perspective of Leader.”

Panelists include a wide range of professionals who specialize in a field of fashion and/or apparel as well as business. They are:

Jessica Barkley -- UD alumnus and technical design manager for QVC, overseeing all technical development for ladies product.

Rick Horwitch -- Vice president for solutions business development and global marketing for Bureau Veritas, consumer products services.

Peter Liu -- Managing director of Asianet Consultants, Asia Pacific's leading executive firm.

Walter T. Wilhelm -- CEO, Walter Wilhelm and Associates LLC.

Paula Zusi -- Executive vice president of sourcing, chief supply chain officer for Ann Taylor Stores

The roundtable is open to all students, faculty and members of the public. It takes place Thursday, March 17, from 4:30-6:30 p.m., in Mitchell Hall.
