The free public talk, scheduled at 5 p.m. in Room 104 Gore Hall, is part of the School of Public Policy and Administration's contemporary issues lecture series.

Before representing Delaware in the U.S. Senate, Kaufman was then-Sen. Joe Biden's chief of staff for 19 years.

There will be a question-and-answer session after the talk.
