11:02 a.m., March 9, 2011----All students and faculty are invited to Free Lunch Friday from 12:30-1:30 p.m., Friday, March 11, at the Venture Development Center, located at 196 South College Ave.

The program will include a brief, 15- to 20-minute presentation on “Marketing on a Budget,” and a 30-plus-minute Q-&-A session. UD alumnus Steve Roettger and his partner in Verge and the coIN Loft, Wes Garnett, will lead the workshop.

True to its name, the Free Lunch Friday workshop will provide free food and soft drinks to those who attend. Seating and food will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Free Lunch Friday workshops are presented by the Entrepreneurship Club and the University's Entrepreneurial Studies Program.

Future Free Lunch Friday presentations will focus on “Setting up a New Business,” “Social Media for Entrepreneurs,” “Developing Your Personal Brand/Network,” “Accounting Practices for Small Businesses” and “Previewing E-Studies and the VDC for the 2011-12 Academic Year.” For additional details, please see the calendar of events on the new E-Studies website.

Learn about opportunities for engagement with the E-Studies program and vote on which student business should receive $1,000 in seed funding.
