3 p.m., Jan. 24, 2011----The University of Delaware Department of Music will hold its annual piano sale, with pre-sale by appointment on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 28-29, and a final public sale from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 30, at the Roselle Center for the Arts on Orchard Road in Newark.

The public sale, open with no appointment necessary, will be held on Sunday, Jan. 30, from noon to 5 p.m.
The Department of Music has had the use of new first-class pianos on a no-cost basis for the 2010 year, with this ongoing arrangement provided through a partnership with the Rockley Family Foundation. These instruments, instruments provided to other institutions and instruments made available by manufacturing partners will be sold to perpetuate this valuable program.
A selection of grands, baby grands, digital player grands, vertical pianos, digital pianos, keyboards, orchestral string instruments, acoustic and electric guitars will be available from such famous makers as Yamaha, Pramberger, Baldwin, Bechstein, Seiler, Roland, Gibson, Breedlove, Ibanez Peavey, with a discrete selection of used Steinway & Sons, and many others.
Most instruments are less than one-year old, include a new factory warranty, are tuned, and ready to go. Delivery and special no-interest financing is available on site.
