The Kenya Safari Acrobats will be performing in conjunction with the University of Delaware Center for Black Culture's Black History Month events. The event is co-sponsored by the Cultural Programming Advisory Board.

The troupe members learned acrobatics as children on the beaches of Kenya as a means to break free from an impoverished country. Now they use their unique talents and strong sense of national pride to teach people about their native country, their cultural traditions, and their artistic values.

Each night they dress in wildly bright and original costumes, perform to catchy music, and capture the hearts of many as they share their story through African acrobatics. Stunts include limbo to the extreme, human pyramids, hoop jumping, jump roping, and much more. Adults, students, and children alike are invited to join in this memorable experience.

The doors will be opening at 6:30 p.m. and the price of admission is free for all University of Delaware students with a valid UD student ID and $7 for the general public. Tickets are available at UD box offices and through Ticketmaster.
