The Green Liaisons Program is part of the Sustainability Task Force, which was created to facilitate greater networking and collaboration across the University, expand awareness and understanding, and provide change-oriented leadership on sustainability.

The mission of the Green Liaisons is to promote and reinforce awareness about environmentally-friendly activities and behaviors; act as information channels involving University environmental programs and initiatives; take a proactive lead in identifying and implementing sustainable and environmentally-friendly initiatives in academic and administrative units and within student groups across the University.

Currently there are more than 100 Green Liaisons across several colleges, departments, and student organizations on campus.
