9:34 a.m., Feb. 4, 2011----The University of Delaware General Accounting Department will hold information sessions Feb. 8-10 to present the campus community with key information about the upcoming annual space, lease and equipment surveys.
Departmental space and/or equipment contact personnel will benefit from the presentations and are strongly encouraged to attend. The University recently hired a director of federal cost accounting, Seyed Mohammadi, who will be presenting best practices and guidelines for completing the space survey.
General Accounting personnel also will review the survey instructions, demonstrate the survey tool, which utilizes Excel workbooks, and answer questions about the survey process.
Sessions will be held as follows in Room 130 in the General Services Building:
Administrative departments -- Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2-3 p.m.
Academic departments -- Wednesday, Feb. 9, 9-10 a.m.
Either academic or administrative -- Thursday, Feb. 10, noon-1 p.m.
